Day 1: Tarapoto
Arrival at Tarapoto’s airport. Reception and transfer to the family hostel. Local welcome drink and accommodation. Visit of the city and the orchid’s nursery. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight.
Day 2: Laguna Azul
Early departure to the Sauce lagoon, well known as the Blue Lagoon. Here you will discover the diversity of the Amazonas cooking. You will be able to watch how is it prepared, as local people still do. The nearby environment is amazing and the people very nice. Visit of the Paucar Yacu hot springs. Lunch. Little navigation over the lagoon. Visit of some handicraft artisans. Return to Tarapoto. Dinner not included. Overnight.
Day 3: Tarapoto out
Optional: Very early in the morning, visit of the local market where you will see how the fresh products are sold. If you want, you will be able to do some shopping.
Return to the hostel for breakfast.
Departure to Lamas, charming little town where still lives a Quechua speaking native community that came from the Andes to settle in this region during the Inca period. They still conserve their traditions, dresses and of course their language.
Lunch at the Lamas Mirador (see point), from where you will have an amazing view of the valley. Return to Tarapoto and transfer to the airport.
